School in Makoko community that offers freed education to orphans and less privileged

A teenager who is the proprietor of Divine wisdom nursery and primary located in Makoko community in Yaba area of Lagos, offers free education to orphans and less privileged in that community.

When he was asked how people could come to their aid, he responded by saying that they have about 147 pupils in the school and in Makoko community, 70 percent of children are out of school.

He went further to say that they normally use canoe to pick the children from their homes and also drop them back when the school is over. So he said they need additional canoe to aid in picking the pupils and also, that the school needs renovation, because some of the students are sitting on the floor and they need furniture.

The proprietor said they have six teachers, two are receiving salary, while the other four are doing it voluntarily, he confirmed that they have their own businesses.

They also provide the pupils with free school uniform
