A Nigerian student, Edobor Efosa, has vowed to leave Nigeria after his unfavorable experience with some police officers in Lagos state today March 30.

In a thread shared on his handle, Edobor claimed some police officers saw him in a cab and after interrogation and not finding anything incriminating on him, they allegedly demanded to search his phone and then found his bitcoin tradings.

He said the officers accused him of being an internet fraudster and then hopped into the cab he was in and asked the driver to drive to the EFCC office in Ikoyi. Edobor stated that when they almost got to EFCC office, the policemen asked the driver to stop and then told him that he should give them N5 million and that if he fails to give them the money, things might get worse for him if they drive into EFCC premises.

Edobor said after many conversations, the officers extorted him of his money. See his tweets narrating what transpired below
