Chidi Mokeme, a star of Nollywood, has brought Nigerians’ attention to his talent once again thanks to the Netflix film Shanty Town.
With the release of the movie, the movie star returned to the spotlight and recently provided an answer to the burning query.
The actor, who is already working on another project, stated during an interview on Channels TV’s Rubbin Minds that he left the entertainment industry following the release of the film in which he had a supporting role.
Then, for the first time, he revealed that he had Bell’s palsy, a disorder that causes one side of the face to droop.
Mokeme claims that the stroke-like disease is incurable because the cause is unknown, and as an actor, he underwent a lot of hardships in an effort to regain his previous state.
Without a choice, the actor took some time off to care for himself before returning to his other line of work.
