The legal team for rapper Kanye West wants to formally announce that they have done defending him in a lawsuit, and they intend to do so in a very public way.

Greenberg Traurig, LLP alleges there has been “a breakdown in contact” with Kanye as they try to inform him they are no longer working on the matter, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. According to them, Ye appeared to have deactivated the phone number they had previously used to contact him.

The documents state that as a result, the corporation is attempting to contact him through “other ways” such as placing ads in two Los Angeles-based newspapers and making the judge’s ruling allowing them to withdraw from the lawsuit publicly available.

The docs say the goal is to inform the rapper about the order — and seeing as he’s incommunicado, this is the best option left to give him notice. The firm says it’s aware the publication would “likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication.”

For those unaware, K.W.’s been pretty MIA since he announced his love for Hitler and Nazis on Alex Jones’ “InfoWars” last year.

TMZ broke the story, however — we learned Kanye and Yeezy architectural designer Bianca Censori recently had some sort of wedding ceremony … though we’re told it doesn’t appear they’ve filed a marriage certificate to make it legal.

Unclear what newspapers would end up publishing the notice if the judge grants the request — but hopefully Ye can spot it!
