Festus Keyamo (SAN), the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council spokesman, has made fun of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers State’s endorsement of Bola Tinubu.
The Rivers governor reportedly ordered all local government chairmen, his assistants, and party executive members in the state to vote for Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election, according to Naija News.
This information was provided by the PDP Rivers Presidential Council in a letter to Wike dated February 1 and signed by Dr. Abiye Sekibo, Director of the State Campaign Management Committee for the Rivers State Chapter.
Keyamo responded to the news on Friday by tweeting that Tinubu’s endorsement by Wike marks a significant turning point in the story of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate who was predicted to suffer a humiliating defeat.
After the election on February 25, Keyamo predicted that the ruling party will reflect on the past and see the G5 uprising as a turning point in the PDP’s downward spiral.
He wrote: “This is an important milestone in the chronicles of a crushing defeat foretold. We shall all look back and point at the rebellion of the G5 as a turning point in the downward spiral of the PDP after February 25th. This is the end game.
“Jungle don fully mature for Rivers.”
