In response to the controversy involving Apostle Suleman and actress Halima Abubakar, who claimed to have dated him, his wife, Dr. Lizzy Johnson Suleman, has made a statement.
Halima Abubakar and Apostle Suleman have been engaged in an ongoing argument since July 2022 on a romantic relationship that the apostle denies ever existed.
The actress made a number of accusations, including that Apostle Suleman was responsible for an unspecified life-threatening illness that had troubled her for years and that he had broken his engagement to marry her.
The ailing actress was sued by the Apostle Suleman for defaming his reputation. This did not stop the actress from calling him out on Instagram and alleging that they were having an affair.
The wife of Apostle Suleman has backed him amid the scandal.
In a viral video, Mrs. Lizzy Johnson expressed her conviction that Apostle Suleman is innocent of all the allegations against him.
She claimed that since she has known her spouse for 19 years, she took the decision to speak.
She claims that throughout their years of marriage, she and her husband have never argued over a woman or extramarital affairs.
Mrs. Johnson continued by saying that people just seek to profit off her husband’s charitable nature.
