BREAKING: Adamu Absent As Kyari Presides Over APC NWC Meeting

Following the announcement of the resignation of Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Deputy National Chairman (North), has assumed the leadership position within the party.

As reported by News Verified, Senator Kyari is currently presiding over the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting at the APC’s National Headquarters in Abuja, commonly referred to as Buhari House.

On Monday morning, around 10:40 am, Senator Kyari parked his vehicle in the designated slot for the National Chairman and proceeded to his office, accompanied by seven other NWC members, to hold a meeting.

According to The Nation, Senator Adamu was not present at the meeting, while Senator Iyiola Omisore, the National Secretary of the party, arrived at the secretariat around 11:20 am and joined the other members in the meeting.

Senator Kyari arrived with Senator Emma Enukwu, the Deputy National Chairman (South); Salihu Lukman, the National Vice Chairman (North West); Salihu Mustapha, the National Vice Chairman (North East); Muazu Bawa, the National Vice Chairman (North Central); Issacs Kekemeke, the National Vice Chairman (South West); Ejoroma Arodiogu, the National Vice Chairman (South East); and Barrister Festus Fuanter, the Deputy National Secretary.

Heightened security measures have been implemented around the national secretariat, with thorough checks conducted on vehicles entering Blantrye Street, where the party headquarters is located, and individuals passing by are subject to questioning.
