FG facilitates admission into Nigerian Universities for Nigerian students affected by Russia-Ukraine conflict

The Federal government says it is facilitating the admission of Nigerian students who fled Ukraine or Russia due to the war between both countries, into any of the tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Recall that the Russia-Ukraine war led some Nigerians students studying in both countries to cry out to the Nigerian government for help to return home. By March 10, the Federal government announced that 1, 076 of the students have been evacuated to Nigeria while others chose to go to other countries.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today July 4, the Federal government asked that the said students interested in continuing their education in a Nigerian university, visit the website of the ministry for assistance.
