I am very devastated, I honestly don’t know what to tell Nigerians any More — Joe Igbokwe quotes Rotimi Amaechi

A few hours ago, the former Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, Joe Igbokwe, took to his social media page and shared a statement made by the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Chibuike Amaechi’s regarding the recent train attack by bandits in Kaduna State.

Joe Igbokwe quoted Chibuike Amaechi’s statement, stating that he is shocked about the recent train incident that took place in Kaduna, and he doesn’t know what to say to Nigerians anymore. He noted that the victims of the attacked train could not have witnessed such if it was easy to acquire security surveillance that could have monitored their movement.

Joe Igbokwe quoted Chibuike Amaechi saying, “I am very devastated and I honestly don’t know what to tell Nigerians, anyone. The process of procuring the integrated security surveillance and monitoring solution has been tedious. If the process were shortened, we would have saved lives”.

Based on the quote that Joe Igbokwe shared online, it seems like it is very difficult for the Nigerian government to purchase integrated security surveillance that would have helped to spy on the movement of every train In Nigeria. If there was security surveillance to spy on the train, so many lives could have been saved.
