Lagos Police Command Resumes Community and Has sent 228 constables to Their LGAs

228 constables from the Lagos State Police Command have been placed in their various local government areas to start community policing.

The 228 constables who are of Lagosian descent are all part of the 10,000 police recruits who graduated on December 29, 2022, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos Police Department, who made this announcement on Thursday via Twitter.

In order to strengthen community policing, Hundeyin claimed that the police recruits have resumed their jobs after being assigned to various local government regions.

“All constables of Lagos State origin, 228 of them, of the 10,000 that graduated from various police training institutions last month, reported for duty today.

“All have been posted to their respective LGAs to boost community policing. Welcome onboard, guys,” he wrote.
