Milan boss Stefano Pioli skeptical about Lukaku’s impact on Roma

Milan head coach Stefano Pioli previewed his side’s upcoming big match with Roma at Stadio Olimpico.

Ahead of the Friday night showdown, Pioli addressed the media and answered questions regarding Roma’s recent signing of ex-Inter striker Romelu Lukaku.

It’s nice to play in sold-out stadiums with this kind of atmosphere. That’s the kind of game we work for: it doesn’t scare us. On the contrary, it stimulates us.”

“With or without Dybala and Lukaku, Roma are strong, organized, very physical and dangerous. They concede little, and are good on set-pieces. We have to be prepared.”

“Lukaku? It’s a good signing on paper, but we’ll have to see what the pitch says,” added Pioli.
