Former presidential aide and social media influencer, Reno Omokri, has returned to Nigeria.
We report that Omokri served as a spokesperson for former President Goodluck Jonathan and has been out of Nigeria since the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) took over power in 2015.
Omokri, who is known as a staunch critic of the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari, however, confirmed his return to Nigeria today by sharing a video clip showing himself having a handshake with his former principal, Jonathan.
“Earlier Today, I Received A Presidential Welcome To Nigeria,” Omokri wrote.
In another video, Omokri was seen having a handshake with the incumbent National Security Adviser under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nuhu Ribadu.
“Niger Coup: I Stand Fully and Unequivocally With Nigeria’s Position,” Omokri captioned the video with Ribadu.
